Met a wonderful person today. When I look at her.. I know why I am still stuck doing the same things.
I somehow hate taking public transport, especially I feel taking bus, trains and auto’s to be really exhausting. Not sure how many of you feel the same. This wonderful lady says she loves commuting to office using buses and train.. even though it’s like a 1 hour journey. She gets the chance to look around..find something new and to get some time to think, away from her home.
She says how she’s old and single..yet she’s successful and cheerful.
She loves to interact with new people everyday. I was amazed by her calmness, the way she quickly adapted to new surroundings. She travelled more than a 13 hour Flight but I could barely notice any tiredness on her face..
We don’t really need someone to depend on , if we have made up our mind that we are going to be fine. Everyday we do get something to compliant about..it can be sometimes a very small problem. We might be angry with someone else or about something but we take it out at the wrong time and at the wrong person. Somedays we feel tired without any reason.
Worrying about what’s going to happen ..takes up more time. Makes us feel low and feel like a loser.
When we think about it calmly.. we can know how much a single positive thought can change our life. A little discomfort can give us something good. We don’t have to be stuck with someone who doesnot value us and we can be more peaceful.
Learning and success is always achieved when we are out of our comfort zone.
Keeping a positive attitude through every situations can be challenging.
I keep trying to be positive and its quite difficult! There are some failures, disappointments, angers in life that how much ever you try to forget it does not leave you.
I remind myself.. that’s it! I should not think about it again. Then those memories just pops up out of nowhere when you are seriously busy doing something else. I will be happily enjoying my lunch and my mind voice starts playing.. Hey you!That person treated you like that.. why? why? You did this wrong.. you are useless!
Yeah..when you get negative thoughts, you need to think something positive. Thats what everyone tells you to do and that really works!
When you face difficulties in your life, most of the times you get sad, get negative thoughts and often think low of yourself. This reduces your ability to overcome the problem. You start thinking you are not good enough but that’s not true!
If you fail in a job interview, you do feel sad but do you stop trying for another one? You will start preparing for next interview and this time you will go through few more topics or correct your previous mistakes. Continuous failures can affect your mental state. You may get tired of trying but remember you will get another chance only if you keep a positive attitude to try again.
What you can do to help yourself?
Never give space for negative thoughts. Keep yourself busy and think about every small things you have done right.
Leave your past failures and stop blaming yourself. Everybody makes mistakes and its normal.
Keep confidence in yourself. You can do it.
Be thankful for what you have.
Try to improve each day.
Every morning make a list of things you need to do.
Appreciate others on their achievements and appreciate yourself for making it so far.
Whenever you fail ask yourself, did you give your best in what you did? Are you challenging yourself rather than giving up?
Being positive makes you a happy person. Your optimism will help you to recognize opportunities. You will gain confidence in yourself and you will be amazed by what you are able to achieve. Your future is in your hands!
